Our company manufactures bearing shells from scratch and re-coats worn bearings using Babbitt alloys compliant with international standards. We use the "centrifugal casting" technique to ensure the perfection of the metallurgical bond, which is the most important factor determining the coating quality. This method ensures that the liquid metal is distributed homogeneously on the surface by centrifugal force, forming a non-porous, high-strength structure. During the repair process, the old Babbitt material is precisely removed, the bearing shell is cleaned, tinned, and re-cast. After the process, the bearings are machined with micron tolerances on CNC benches, and most importantly, the bonding quality is certified by checking with non-destructive testing methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Penetrant Testing (PT).
